About of Project

SVS is planning to implement on Humanitarian Assistance of Pre-Primary and Primary Education Support IDPs in Non-Government Controlled Area , Kayin State with UNICEF Education Section.

The aim of the project is to provide humanitarian assistance to 2439 displaced children for their basis pre and primary education .This project is under controlling of both organizations (DKBA and Government ) with the objective of providing educational opportunities for children in 39 villages under SVS’s management focusing on creating temporary safe learning spaces , provision of student kits and capacity building of local teachers as well as SVS staffs.

The project will be implemented in 39 villages in Non-Government Controlled Area which will be directory under SVS’s management for a comprehensive response for education sectors. The detailed demographic information of the villages is included in the beneficiary section and the implementation approach section details how the proposed intervention complements and builds on ongoing responses by both agencies as well as current and planned interventions by other stakeholders.

This project aims to provide pre-primary and primary education opportunities for 2439 conflict affected children in Kayin State in line with the right to life with dignity. This will be based on mutually reinforcing components to implement project cycle effectively and effectively to reach the targeted aims.
